Facial skin care
Do not use bar soaps for facial skin care. They will dry out your skin.
Most cleansers contain oil, water, and surfactants. The oil will dissolve
oil on your face while the surfactant should remove dirt and makeup.
The water will wash it all away. The secret is in finding the right
amount of oil. Too little oil in the cleanser will dry out your skin,
while too much oil will clog pores.
Exfoliation in facial skin care is skipped by many people in their
skin care routine. There are three ways to exfoliate. Microdermabrasion,
chemical peels, and retinoids will all work in removing the outer most
layers of dead skin which dull one’s complexion. One should use
a gentle scrub with fine grains as big grains may tear and do more harm
than good on facial skin care.
Using a moisturizer is an effective way of keeping your skin pliant
but firm. A firm law of beauty is that everyone should moisturize, no
matter the skin type. Moisturizers will seal moisture into the skin.
Your skin will greatly benefit even if you have oily skin.
